James "Jim" Dale Williamson became one of God's angels on December 30, 2016 Jim was born July 14, 1948 to Albert Williamson and Clara Thompson Williamson in Colville, Wa. Jim served in the United States Army from Oct.15, 1968 to May 20, 1970. Jim married April Gentry on July 4, 1997; so they would never forget their anniversary and so that the whole country would celebrate with them. Survived by his loving wife April Gentry Williamson, brother Albert Williamson, sisters Denise (Rod) Milward of and Sharon Finch, children; Shawn (Janet) Williamson, "Bill" (Tammy) Williamson and Lee Williamson, step-children; Mary (Del) Black, Alicia Charbonneau, Thomas (Kaycee) Drake and Carl (Jenny) Drake. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and friends he embraced as family. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Mona Williamson, sister Phillis Schmidt and brother Benjamin Robert "Bob" Williamson. Jim treasured his grandchildren, nieces, nephews to the deepest depth of life's existence. He looked forward to the embrace of their arms around his neck and would often say "this makes life worth living." Jim enjoyed the great outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping or just admiring God's creations. He described it as "God's greatest cathedral". One of Jim's favorite quotes: "Someone who can smile when everything is going wrong has found someone to blame it on." In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Spokane, P.O.
